The-bests.net will soon be no more.
Here is some cute footage of the kids hugging. They interact with each other more and more every day. Porter really likes to share and brings things to Abbey like her car-car or bear. This evening, Porter even let her play with his hair. He was sitting in the living room playing with a car and Abbey was brushing his hair back and forth. Sweet kids.
Abbey's opinions are becoming more vocal these days. I have more footage to put up later this week.
Abbey loves purses, jewelrey, hats and SHOES. And the more clip-clopping sound they make, the better. This footage is from last month when Shannon's family were down from Tulsa. As soon as Grammy Priss would walk in the door, Abbey would start pointing at her shoes, demanding that Grammy let her wear them immediately. Of course, my princess gets what she wants.
This video was made right before Halloween. We met our friends Tom and Leisl with their son Andrew, at Zilker Park to see the Biscuit Brothers and other children's music performers. After we were done, we took the kids for a train ride. Everyone had a blast and I'm sure this will be a regular treat for Porter and Abbey.
The family made a road trip out to Marble Falls to visit Sweetberry Farms. Watch the kids riding in the wagon and eating their first popsicle, made with fresh strawberries.
Abbey loves walking in her shoes. Doesn't matter which shoes they are, just as long as they make that "clop clop" sound. And don't even think about taking the stroller away when she is trying to push it.
Press play! The heat is getting to the kids' heads. They've gone wacko!
Press play! This is from early July. Porter had been trying to walk for a few days. Some of his first steps can be seen here. Also, Abbey started tumbling. Pretty funny stuff.
Press play! Bouncing Bubble Blowers. The kids are horsin' around.
Press play! Our little angel has taken her first steps. It seems like only yesterday that Abbey and Porter were in their tiny NICU beds and we were fighting just to feed them ONE OUNCE of formula. Now Abbey is walking. She already looks ready for the fashion runway.
Press play! Abbey is starting to walk with the help of the walker/car she got for her birthday.
